September is at an end! We’ve obviously haven’t done a weekend update for the majority of the month of September. While I wish it was because we were busy doing something extraordinary, but it’s been a couple weekends of mostly routine hum-drum variety. A few highlights – The weekend of Sept 11th we took [...] Well, the hubby started his first day at the new job (Peer1 Hosting) and since I have some time to kill on my lunch hour today, I’ll be running this episode of the Templeman family weekend update. After a long day in surgery (rat surgery at work… not on me!) on Friday, I came home [...] I awoke my birthday morning to three cards from my lovelies, each more touching than the last. Great start to the day cause even the drive to work was smooth. At the office my boss bought cake and ice cream and a really great card as well. I also won Father’s Day raffle grand prize [...] The weekend was a low key affair of basically hanging out with Ripley. We did take her out Saturday to run some errands, grab some lunch, and swing by my Dad’s house for a visit. My grandmother finally got to meet her Great Granddaughter which was very important to me. She still has one more [...] Well another week down and we come to find that the baby may be breech, we’re not overly worried but we’re going in together for a check up and sonogram on Thursday. We’ll get some more pictures and keep everyone updated when we know more. However this the weekend update and the weekend really was [...] Ah the weekend finally upon us and as I headed home I put the sun roof down and jammed out to some of the Heavy thinking about nothing but getting home to Kellie and sitting down to enjoy the evening. Luckily nothing stopped me from doing so! We sat down to some home made sauce [...] March is upon us and with that my wife is now seven months pregnant. In a mere two months we’ll be parents and somehow we’ll have to make sure we don’t royally mess anything up, well I’ll have to make sure. I have no worries about Kellie at this point she’s been an awesome mom [...] Thanksgiving holidays where both relaxing and yet a blur of activity… Thursday, official Turkey Day! My lovely wife fixed us a mini Thanksgiving dinner, that ended up being quite a meal as I’m still eating turkey today. A “little” 8-lb turkey breast, corn, stuffing, my bacon greenbeans, rolls, and the real treat pumpkin pie was [...] So Friday Kellie and I drove over to the Doctor’s office in Newnan, the mood was giddy on the trip there and after some time and a few tests we were given the news… We’re pregnant! We’re going to be someone parents! It’s doctor official now and well we’re telling everyone we know and the [...] Oh a weekend that almost rushed by with just a mere ‘Hello, Goodbye!’ so what did we get up to in our brief time? Well Kellie has been getting wore out more quickly the last couple of weeks. At about 10pm she is ready to call it an evening. But on Friday we did [...] |
